AI & Ethics

Navigating the Future

Artificial intelligence – it’s profoundly transforming the way that we perform tasks – the way that we create – and profoundly redefining the way that we work. It’s a technological revolution that’s been compared to the advent of the industrial age. It’s definitely here to stay. You’ve seen the “how to courses” about using AI. But what about the ethics of how we use AI in the workplace – as individuals, as companies, as organizations? How do we address issues of transparency? Fairness? Responsibility? Privacy? How do we leverage the phenomenal advances that AI is making possible, while critically thinking about its strengths and weaknesses?

With this in mind, welcome to Baylor University’s course series “AI and Ethics: Navigating the Future.”  The series features self-paced online short courses built to help you think deeply about and frame the ethical use of AI within occupations like law, healthcare, communications, digital media, and other businesses. We challenge you to positively shape the impact of your personal and professional use of AI as this powerful tool continues to evolve.
