Program Proposal & Viability Study
Steps in this process:
- Complete GPE new program interest form
- Interest and Demand research begins
- Identify competitors
- Initial Market Research begins
- Feasibility study with GPE leadership
- Discovery meeting with constituents
- Notification of next steps
During this process, the proposal initiator will:
- Need to provide a proposed name, CIP codes and SOC codes.
- Need to provide justification for the program need/benefit and identify how it supports the University strategic plan.
- Need to provide information on program format (in-person, hybrid or self-supporting, fully online) and anticipated costs for 10 years.
During this process, the GPE office will:
- Provide a program market analysis and competitor analysis (this process may need to be repeated for fine tuning).
- Provide marketing information.
- Provide online course/program options and considerations if fully online and self-supporting.
